Bus Stop Vintage Fair and School for Paws Dog Fun Day!

Two different events this weekend! On Saturday I’ll be at Bus Stop Vintage Fair in Shrewsbury, from 10am-5pm, with lots of vintage and handmade stalls, live music and tea and cakes! This weekend it’s at Shrewsbury Baptist Church on Clarement St in the centre of town.

And then on Sunday I’m at the School for Paws Dog Fun Day! I can’t wait! Starting at 10.30am, there will be lots of doggy fun and activities, plus refreshments and craft stalls. These doggies are going to feel right at home! At Berriewood Farm, Condover, Shrewsbury SY5 7NN. It’s going to be a warm and sunny day for it too!Dogs Love

Artisan Handmade and Vintage Brocante!

vintage brocanteI’m in the throes of last minute sewing for this exciting event, tomorrow, Saturday the 17th August. At least I will be once I’ve stopped tapping away at my keyboard here, and as long as I keep remembering it’s not the time to start trying to get through Claire de Lune on the piano. It’s the Artisan Handmade and Vintage Brocante at Nantwich Civic Hall, Cheshire.  Lots and lots of fabulous sellers and the Pear of Peas tearoom…Pennie Pengilly’s cakes are the best in the land. From 10.30am-4.30pm. It’s going to be a glorious day at Hodnet Hall Gardens in Shropshire, for my first ever Shropshire Handmade and Vintage Fair! From 10am-3pm, this Sunday, 21st July. With lovely stalls, tea and cakes and….at last…..glorious sunshine! Come and see me….I’m in the tearoom area….Very handy!

Made in Shropshire Ludlow and Vintage Escapades This Weekend

I shall be in Ludlow town square this Saturday, the 1st of June, for Made in Shropshire’s monthly fair…Come and see some lovely locally made crafts and food, from 9am-5pm! Then on Sunday it’s Vintage Escapades at Woore Victory Hall, 10am-4pm. It’s a clothing extravaganza! Come and pick up a new summer dress, so you’re ready when the sun comes out….surely sometime in June….

Dearnford Lake Country Fayre 18 and 19 May!

Pam Kitty and Retro Kitty

This weekend I shall be heading to Dearnford Lake Country Fayre, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May. Vintage Escapades have a very special little marquee alongside the country fayre, where there are dog shows and displays, crafts, activities, face painting and a fairground, plus the  cafe, car boot sale and other attractions. Do come along! From 10am-4pm on both days. You can find directions here to Tilstock Road, Whitchurch, SY13  – www.dearnford.com. It’s about a mile from Whitchurch railway station and easily accessible by car on the A49. See you there!

Tiny Bunny in a Skirt

It’s the second Saturday of the month, which means it’s Made in Shropshire day! We’ll be in the Square in Shrewsbury town centre from 9am-5pm, so please do come along and take a look at all the lovely handmade crafts and local food produce. This tiny bunny is coming with me. See you there!

I’ve got a last minute booking tomorrow, Friday 3rd May, at The Wightman, just at the back of the Square in Shrewsbury town centre. The Pop Up Emporium runs from 10am-4pm, so I hope to see you there! I’m looking forward to seeing who else is there with their handmade wares. Then it’s Woore time again on Sunday 6th – for more Vintage Escapades. That’s at Woore Victory Hall, Woore, Cheshire, 10am-4pm!

I’m looking forward to this, and we are hoping that we will have waved goodbye to this dismal weather and said hello to some sunshine in time to enjoy Crafty Vintage in Bishops Castle, Shropshire on Saturday 6th April. It’s a handpicked selection of fabulous vintage sellers and amazing crafters, plus tea and cakes too, of course. Open from 10am-4pm at the Auction Hall on Station Street. It’s a small town, you’ll find us…near the bottom of the town. Spot the bunting outside! I look forward to seeeing you!

Bus Stop Vintage Mad March Fair

Tomorrow, Bus Stop Vintage have arranged an extra date for your shopping pleasure! It’s at the usual venue, St Mary’s Church, Shrewsbury town centre, opposite Vinegar Hill, from 10am-4pm. As usual, there are lots of lovely vintage sellers, plus an array of crafty handmade stalls, just perfect for browsing for Easter gifts. Do come, it’ll be lovely! Shop, meet your friends, drink tea, eat cake and pray for Spring to arrive!
